Need a clever person to produce a prototype MIDP 2.0 application that dials out to a given number when an audio command is received through the audio port. Sounds simple, huh? Read on.

Im looking for you to produce a brief proposal for the work, which includes:
 A clear statement of work
A list of the phones/carriers that you know the app will work on
A list of additional phones/carriers that you think the app will probably work on
The total number of hours needed to design, code, test and demonstrate results (+ or - 25%)
A total dollar amount for labor
A list of any other expenses needed
A grand total dollar amount for the project
A date and place that you can demonstrate the app on two different models of phones
Some indication that you have created successful J2ME applications previously
Any other terms or conditions you wish

A selection will be made within 12 hours of receiving the first acceptable proposal.

Preference will be given for perceived:
 Resourcefulness
Willingness to work with a start-up
 Empathy for womens issues

Score bonus points for being in Texas, extra points for being near Dallas.

I do know that several OEMs, including Motorola (on which I do most of my J2ME) offer APIs that do things like dialing. However, using an OEM API means that your MIDlet will not be portable.

Jason,

I'm interested in working with someone, or team of someones, who is capable of creating the simplest of voice activated dialing applications that can run on many phones. Core requirement: any audio input from the audio port causes a designated number to be dialed, WITHOUT pressing any button on the phone (except to turn the phone on or off, of course). If you can identify someone, or have someone get in touch with me, you will be doing a good deed.

Thanks,
Robert
