Most of the people are blaming technological advancement for the poor condition of the people, however I think technology has nothing to do with it, the problem lies in system or rather interest based economy, where bunch of people sell dreams through mortgages and loans on high interest rates and others get trapped into that.

I dont know why windows based tablets are not so successfull in market however I am loving it, I have also downloaded a Android emulator to enjoy Android based apps on tablets, its giving me best of both worlds and even I am comfortably using it for work purpose. I think if there has been no IPad in the market I wouldn't have got this cheap tablet, thanks to IPad once again.

How much did you pay?

Nobody knows when they are going to launch it and what will be the expected price, I assume it be really on the higher price tag.

I've been struggling with my old Dell laptop from last 2-3 months in which I spent a lot of money about 4 years ago, now it is time to buy a new one. I thought instead of buying a new laptop again why not go for a tablet as you can get good processing power and memory in tablets now a days and it can be suitable for both work and home/entertainment usage. After doing my research I found that there are good number of options available in market while most of them are Android based tablet they seems to be good for entertainment but not for work, so I decided to go for Windows 7 based tablets, well they are on the higher price range, I've short listed following tablets

1. Acer Iconia W 500/501 (seems good value for money)
2. Asus Eee slate ep 121 ( powerful but prices are on the higher side)
3. MSI Winpad ( seems ok)
4. HP Slate (good one but with no docking station)

Need suggestion from you guys whether 10" tablets are good for work ? , I've never worked on any 10" size Netbooks/laptops, what are your experience on the tablets nowadays available in the market ?

Bert Bates wrote:I think it's an interesting question...

You could take the tack that a couple of billion years ago some chemicals got together and started to make some proteins, then some amino acids, then a little RNA, and so on, and that we're all just a continuation of that chemical reaction that started way back when. Just one looooooooooong chemical reaction.

Now I believe in the theory of evolution, I'm not a fan of the "intelligent design" orientation. With that said, I find I'm comforted in the belief that there's a little spark of some sort, in everyone, that survives when the body dies.

I wonder why only living things were created from that chemical reactions not the non-living things like mobile phones, PC etc etc, I mean we could have found n number of other things as well though only it would have been a by-product.
