I want a degree in Software Engineer
Hi guys,

I have a question, if someone can answer me.
I received an Analyst in Systems (3 years), also a technician in programming (2 years), and I have several certifications (OCA and OCP).
In addition, I have 10 years of experience programming and working in companies. I am currently working at Hewlett Packard.

But I would like to be able to get a degree in Software Engineer. But I do not want to be studying 5 years things that I already studied at some point of my life. I would like to know if someone knows a way to graduate as an engineer online and that takes all my experience and certificates, to be in a few years.

Best Regards,

Lucas

Academia doesn't care about your experience and certificates. In academia you need to prove your knowledge based on academia metrics. Which include essay writting, being able to cope with several years doing courseworks and exams and not losing motivation across the years so the grades level would remain the same (assume 1:1).

If I were you, I wouldn't even mention work experience and certificates, because professors I guess tend to pay extra picky attention on the students like you described.

To answer to your question, no, I don't know such institution who would trade diploma to your experience and certificates you gained. But might somebody else knows.
And welcome to the Ranch, it seems you are new here
Western Governors Unviersity sounds similar to what you described. It is completely online and self paced.
I found it!!

Does anyone know this?

I'm not familiar with it, but IEEE is a well respected organization. Note that this gives you a certification which is different than a degree. (You said you wanted a degree in the subject so calling attention to that)
How do they get the deer to cross at the signs? Or to read this tiny ad?
