Location: Carlsbad -or- Rancho Bernardo, CA

Salary: $80 - $100k DOE
A lead developer of broadband multimedia applications for interactive cable systems has an immediate need for a Java programmer with 4-5 years software development experience. Candidate needs to have good methodology, full life cycle experience, object oreiented design, and strong analytical skills. Must be able to be a mentor to less experienced programmers. Requires 3 yrs exp with C++ programming. Pluses are exp with embedded coding, UML, real-time development, and exp in interactive cable tv environment.
Benefits: 401k, medical and dental insurance, 12 holidays, 3 weeks vacation, stock options. Opportunity for telecommuniting exists.
Evnvironment is laid-back business casual in a small company atmosphere. There will be limited amount of travel involved with this postion. Candidates must have excellent communication skills to intertact with clients.
