As soon as any new menu, panel or window appears and it hides the mouse. Then once I've moved the mouse part of the screen is repainted by what was either behind or was previously focused. This leaves irritating blocks and objects all over the screen.
I thought it might have something to do with a lack of memory, except that I have 192Megs RAM and JBuilder4 only requires 128Megs RAM, or possibly something to do with the refresh rate of the monitor.
I have spoken to a few people and a couple seem to think that Swing is to blame thinking it necessary to repaint only what it thinks needs repainted.
Any ideas please let me know, thanks Thomas.
