could you please tell me How many clients can be connected to one
visualAge repository.

It all depends on the size of your machine. I've seen hundreds of clients connect to a 2-processor box with no problems. On the other hand, we've had problems with 20-30 clients on an underpowered, undernetworked (10-baseT) machine. There is no easy answer...
