Why i can't install netbeans on windows 2000/XP,
the error message is JVM not found

Hi Mark.
Yeah the netbeans ide requires that you have a jvm already installed on your machine before you run the netbeans ide. You can get the free jdk/jvm downloads from sun.
In case you already have the jvm installed ... i think you may want to try and reinstall the jvm. There is one ide that corrupts your settings when you uninstall - and that may have been what happened to your machine.
NetBeans works out of the box. No need to configure anything.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
