what would be a good RAM for this installation. Would 256 MB be enough for this? This is what I currently have. Just want to know your comments before I go through the time and trouble of installing ?
Thanks.

Coding with Java, using IDE's? I think 512 RAM would not be such a bad idea...

256MB will do, but I'm afraid you'll be in for some long waits if the codebase you'll be working on is big. I used to run Eclipse with 196MB on my previous laptop and it was fine for my personal stuff. If you can, get the extra memory.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
