Have used many IDE's in developing Java apps. I am currently using Eclipse and am particularly enjoying its helpfulness in pointing out unecessary imports and deprecated methods. Other team members have been using NetBeans which doesn't seem to provide this helpful information and therefore I find myself tidying up others code.

Anyhow - I would love it if Eclipse would compile JSP's. Our JSP's are in such a state that they scare me. Perhaps there is a plugin to do this - does anyone know of one?

There are several, but all I've found work only if you're working directly inside a life web application and follow a preset directory structure dictated by the plugin.
