Foundation Systems has been retained by a small but fast growing company in the Service / Asset management Space to build out their organization.
With 15+ enterprise level deployment and implementations at companies like Cisco and AOL Time Warner, we are looking for 20+ multiple sharp engineers and PM to fill different roles in the next 2 quarters.
Current positions include:
JSP FrontEnd Developers (3)
Location: 925 area code
(company is growing out of the current space and is planning to relocate to San Francisco or 510 area code by the end of the year)
Term: 2 contract positions (3-6 months, $38-$50 per hour)
1 permanent position (competitive salary, stock options, full benefits)
Urgency: High - will begin interviewing immediately
Process: Candidates MUST answer the list of questions below to expedite the screening process.
Technical skills required:
* 4+ years of progressively responsible experience with Web base N-tier enterprise workflow applications.
* Extremely competent with Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScripts, HTML, and other front end / client side technologies.
* Familiar with interfacing with RDBMS.
* Loves tweaking with technologies and making things smarter and more efficient.
* Enjoys the dynamics associated with a startup type environment.
Soft skills required:
* Talented problem solver with strong leadership skills.
* Fast learner, inquisitive about technologies and backed by sound logic.
* Demonstrated success in working for dynamic, start-up environment.
* Organized, methodical, sound judgment, detail oriented, and understand the big picture.
* Excellent listening skills and effective communication skills.
* Strong experience with OpenSource Technologies including Tomcat, Apache, and others.
* Also familiar with PHP, JMS, and other technologies.
* Familiar with enterprise product running in a highly heterogeneous environment: all flavors of OS (more UNIX than Windows/Mac), database, webservers, network, you name it.
Job Description -
One of the reasons they are growing in a down economy is that they sell quality technology that people need (vs. want). Their customers love them. If hired into this organization, you will work in a small team and contribute to this success. You will build the front end of N-tier enterprise workflow applications using Java/J2EE, JSP, HTML, DHTML, a framework similar to Struts, and among other technologies. It will be your job to constantly look for ways to improve on the framework and make the implementation smarter and more scaleable for their customers. You will also work closely with the backend team to leverage and improve upon their powerful platform technology. There is very open and honest communication and very little politics. It's all about what can we get done and how well we can do it while having a good time type of attitude here.
