Hello:

How about the newest version of eclipse 3.0? Still have bugs like when use CVS to check in and out?
Compared to v2.1.3, it has more features, but less stable and more bugs, is this still right?

Which one do you like to choose?

Thanks!

I find 3.0 to be quite stable. It might have some more bugs than the current 2.x, but the new features make it so much more productive to me that I wouldn't want to go back, anyway.

my only gripe with 3.0 (mind I've not yet gotten around to replacing RC2 with the released version) is that it's sometimes slow (sometimes it just seems to hang there for up to 20 seconds doing who knows what while the screen is frozen).

Thank you, guys.

For 3.0 version, which one is the most stable so far?

There is a final release available at eclipse.org. In my opinion, 3.0 is a huge upgrade over 2.x. It is more stable and much more performant, the interface in general looks much better, and the CVS integration is much better than in the past.

Cheers,
E
