Hello,

Can someone please recommend a book over Eclipse? I want to learn the fundamentals from scratch!

Thanks,

Jesse,
Eclipse In Action is a good book to start out with.

In "Eclipse: Building Commercial Quality Plug-ins":

Chapter 1 = an overview of the Eclipse user interface
Chapter 2 = develop a simple plugin
Chapter 3 = overview of Eclipse plugin structure

You can download and read these chapters...

Even if you are developing plugins, I think it may still be useful to read a general Eclipse book first. (Then read Dan/Eric's book second.) I see value in learning how to use Eclipse to have a stronger foundation.
