Our client a, leading global IT company that provides solutions for high-performance, transaction processing, is actively looking for a Senior Systems (JAVA) Architect.
On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be involved in the beginning phases of projects (including business development, Pre RFP, RFP phases). This individual will also be responsible for managing and driving the high-level architecture design and technology selections (Award and Delivery Phases). The incumbent will be a high-level technical contact for internal and external clients, so they need to have an in-depth knowledge with both emerging technologies and emerging systems.
To be qualified for this position, individuals should have a minimum of 5 years experience in network architecture design. Expertise in XML and Java, especially with server side technologies such as servlets, JSP, JDBC, and JNDI. Experience developing high transaction processing applications is a must for this position. Individuals must have expert knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle. Experience with server-side technologies, database integration issues, and content management system requirements. Examples include application servers, web servers, database servers, content management servers, message oriented middleware, and transaction processing
monitors, etc. Candidates must have strong verbal and written skills.
The position is a direct placement, so candidates will be expected to go through an intensive interview process, with various members of the team, as well as upper management. We will consider out-of-state candidates, but we will not be able to pay relocation expenses. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
