First a big thank you to Eric Clayberg and Dan Rubel for hanging out with us this week, answering questions. Also, thank you to his publisher, Addison-Wesley Professional, for donating four copies of their book, Eclipse: Building Commercial-Quality Plug-ins, to our winners.

The winners are...
-Jeanne Boyarsky
-Kishore Dandu
-Ali Pope
-Roland Schnabel

Congratulations! Please send me your preferred snail mail address and phone number by sending an email to bookpromotion AT javaranch DOT com with the subject "promotion winner - Eclipse Plug-ins" and I'll forward your information to the publisher.

Next week, we're promoting two books:
  • Java Testing and Design: From Unit Testing to Automated Web Tests by Frank Cohen in our Testing forum,
  • and Fearless Change: Patterns for Introducing New Ideas by Mary Lynn Manns and Linda Rising in our Process forum.
  • The authors will be hanging out with us, answering questions.

See the Book Promotions page for more information on future promotions.

    woohoo!!!

    Finally made it.

I started using Eclipse at work and started having issues(initial hiccups) and now with this win, I may become an addict of Eclipse.

Thanks to Ali Pope & Lasse for answering my questions.

Thanks Eric and Dan for answering our questions and also for writting such a book .
The community behind Eclipse must continue to support the Eclipse guys, which are doing a very good job (their effort is very appreciated here ).

PS: Jeanne please excuse me for missing the Ant, Maven and Other Build Tools forum and posting the question here .

    Ali,
No problem. I've done that quite a few times myself.

I enjoyed seeing you in the forum this week. You had very interesting posts.

Popeye has his spinach. I have this tiny ad:
