Our client is a business and information technology firm focused on helping decision-makers in governments and Fortune 500 companies increase their return on investment in IT systems.
Job Description
To develop applications and services related to project tasks. The Software Engineer will generally work closely with senior consultants and technical leads to execute the vision of the Enterprise Architect but should be capable of independent work. The responsibilities can include development, detailed design documentation, and design briefings.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform detailed technical design on requirements and direction provided by the technical lead and enterprise architect.
* Develop software applications and services.
* Perform rudimentary system administration tasks including software installation.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years experience with software development with at least 2 years of Java development.
* High level of proficiency with Java and J2EE systems and object-oriented design knowledge.
* Experience developing in Unix, Windows 2000/XP/CE.
* Strong independent learning ability, easily adaptable to different development environments, collaborative, highly motivated and dedicated to delivering quality software.
* Must be a US Citizen.
