As Google would've quickly pointed out to you, MyEclipseIDE is a commercial product consisting of a number of J2EE plugins for Eclipse that costs $30 a year and that Jalopy is a source code formatter...

Regarding tutorials, I'm afraid I can't help you there. If you'd be using Eclipse 3.0 (or consider the difference bearable), you might want to consider a book to get started.

The Eclipse 2.x line wouldnt be supported anymore. The latest release of Eclipse 2.x is Eclipse 2.1.3. From 2.1.1 to 2.1.3 there were many many bugfixes concerning stability, etc.

The actual stable version of Eclipse is Eclipse 3.0.1 and it has many new features.

Sanjaya is correct that 3.0.1 is the latest version. Before you upgrade, be sure to check all the plugins you need support 3.0. Some of the vendors are still working on it.
