Where does eclipse keep custom "code style" profile configuration .xml?

Well I got tired of re-doing the entire "preference > java editor > code style" menu every time I switched a version of eclipse or used it on another computer.

There's an "import" option which asks for an XML file but I have no clue where that file is. A little help?

You can import/export the preferences. I don't know if it's in XML though.

I posted it because it's a partial answer to your question. It's a way of sharing the preferences. A partial answer is better than nothing.

Did you try the "export" button (the one next to the input button) to see the format?
