Hi!

I am trying to run a tomcat project (via the SYSDEO Tomcat plugin) from Eclipse. When i type the following in the Explorer:
*** http://localhost:8080/ProjectRunTomcat/jsp/start.jsp ***

The following exception is thrown:

*******************************************
Unable to find a javac compiler;
com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK
at org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.compilers.CompilerAdapterFactory.getCompiler(CompilerAdapterFactory.java:105)

at org.apache.jasper.compiler.Compiler.compile(Compiler.java:352)
at org.apache.jasper.JspCompilationContext.compile
......
......
***************************************************************

Now, the variable JAVA_HOME is properly set in my Windows m/c's Environment variables.

What could be the problem.

Thanks.

do you have tools.jar in tomcat lib? It is required by tomcat for compiling jsps.
