I want to import java project or some files from UNIX to Ecplise IDE tool.
please tell the steps.

Iam first time using UNIX OS.

please help me out of this problem.

In the project area you can right click and select Import.

to import a project use Existing Project into Workspace

to import files use File System.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
