Currently we have download sun studio creator 2 which comes with sun app server 8.1 as its default server. We want to make our default server in studio creator 2 as app server 8.2, since our production environment is running on 8.2.

Any help will be appreciated.

you can register the 8.2 version as a remote server , it will help you to deploy the application on 8.2 . (it is official way)

there is another way , i did not test it at all,
you can replace installation folders , i mean you can install the sun apps 8.2 in the same place the 8.1 (bundled with S S C) and create a domain named creator with the same password and user name that creator use.

this way you can use 8.2 for development purpose.
