Hi Everyone,

I tried to download eclipse from www.eclipse.org from the mirror site Japan & China, since I am residing in Singapore.

I have difficulty to install the program to my system once the download is completed.

Could someone pls guide me?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

After I unzip, what do I do?
Is there any start up I need to install to get the IDE showing cause I got nothing once I had it unzipped.
It merely transfers to eclipse folder and then I clicked on the Eclipse icon, but nothing happens...

Could someone pls guide me? Thanks in advance....

Best Regards
KS

After unzipping, there should not be anything to do.
Double-clicking eclipse.exe should start Eclipse.
No error ? No log file ?

Shafian,
when you unzip all files, are you extracting folders as well ?
Which zip tool are you using ?
You must extract everything with the original directory structure.
(there must be an option in the unzip tool)

Hi,

I was busy and now with a little time I have in hand...I tried to reinstall it once again...
Still the same error....
!SESSION Wed Apr 12 15:44:22 GMT+08:00 2006 ------------------------------------

Could someone please tell me which mirror site to download it from? Currently I extracted from Japan and China...Both gave me the same error.

I did extract all the files and even it prompted me during the extraction if some files would want to be replaced?! Though its extracted to a new folder, I do not know y such an error came abt but however, I chose Yes to All button, to allow smooth extraction of the files....

Kindly guide me ...

Your help and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards
SK
