TEST ENGINEER � WHITE BOX - HARNESS BUILDS
The Senior Integration Test Engineer is a software engineer with a commitment to software quality. Should make significant contributions to the quality of the software delivered by the software development organization. The candidate must design and implement coherent, progressive, "code-based" strategy for white box testing of multi-threaded components. Work closely with software developers and take an active role in ensuring that the software components meet the highest quality standards.
Work with the infrastructure teams and other applications developers to design and implement methods of testing enterprise software products for Mitchell International. Responsible for designing and implementing test plans, cases and scenarios including development and coding of test harnesses for the middle tier for either production server or web enabled client side multi-threading software components.
The ability to deliver high quality results-driven white box product test (system, unit, load, stress/performance, multi-threading and synchronization) for highly complex N-tier software products is required. Knowledge of software development, quality assurance, structured programming, white box product testing, test harness development and coding practices is essential.
Requirements:
�4+ years of software development and software test harness development experience using C++, .NET, C#, J2EE, or EJB for N-tier software products.
�Experience writing test plans for applications under BEA Weblogic Enterprise Platform or other applicable webserver applications.
�Weblogic Integrator or Data Junction integration tools experience is desired.
�Reviewing and providing feedback on software development requirements definition, functional specifications and product quality assurance reviews.
�Design and develop white box performance test plans, procedures and cases with associated test data.
�Supervising and mentoring junior staff as needed.
�Experience working in a structured development environment.
�Experience writing stored procedures, Oracle or SQL Server.
�Experience with developing scripts using Load Runner, Quick Test Pro, Rational Robot, Test Director is a plus.
�Experience with UML, HTML, XML, XSLT is a plus.
�BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
�Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship.
�Must have a high degree of analytical, verbal communication and written skills. Displays considerable independence, creativity, and originality of thought.
