You can download CVS from nongnu. Nothing beats the official manual.

Hi Boyarsky ,

Thanks for your help. But when i opened http://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/, I am getting the following structure

Parent Directory 14-Aug-2003 13:23 -
binary/ 06-Dec-2005 19:38 -
source/ 06-Jul-2006 11:51 -

From which directory i have to download the file for cvs.

That depends, of course, on whether you want the binary (already compiled) or source (you will compile it yourself.) Given that you're asking, I'd say "binary" is the right choice for you.

Ernest is correct that you want the binary version. At your next choice, click "stable." Then you will pick the platform and download the latest zip file.

"sivasankarreddy"
Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

Note that your display name needs to have one or more spaces in it to be valid. "Siva Sankar Reddy" is perfect.
