Hi,

I have configured the CVSServer on Linux as mentioned in the cvs manuals.Retreived the application from CVSRepository located in the remote server into the my local working directory. When modifications are done to the files, they are getting modified and while trying to updated ,they are updating successfully. But,when trying to commit the changes using the cvs commit,I am getting the following error "root is not allowed to commit the changes".i also tried to commit the changes using the user i created while installing the cvs server. But I am getting the same errors. Please, tell me what i have to do to commit the changes from my workig directory.

Thanks in Advance,
regards,
Siva.
