In this highly visible position, he/she will participate in the entire project lifecycle and has a direct impact on overall project success. Innovative and out of the box thinking is strongly encouraged to help meet customer requirements and expectations, as no two implementations are exactly alike.

The Systems Engineer also has a responsibility for presentation, training, and documentation activities. From initial client contact and presenting the clients architecture, to training both internal and external client teams regarding the project, to the production launch and preparation of final project documentation deliverables, the Systems Engineer must be adept with written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

-Verify client requirements gathered during the pre-sales cycle.
-Architect and present recommended systems architecture based on client requirements, to include systems sizing and server hardware recommendations. Will be architected using Java for the framework.

-Function as a liaison between the client and client's internal organizations such as technical support and engineering to ensure resolution of issues.
-Develop shell scripts to automate system administration related activities.
-Assist with application unit and acceptance testing.
-Conduct system and application load and performance testing and tune servers as appropriate.
-Diagnose and provide recommendations for the resolution of system hardware and application software issues.
-Document system installation and configuration procedures for both client and internal delivery.
-Present formal training sessions to both clients and internal organizations.
-Conduct post-production activities, such as transitioning project support to the client's technical support organization and assisting in the diagnosis and resolution of issues as needed.
-Keep abreast of current technologies and how/if they can be implemented to enhance a deployment.
