I am looking for a excellent UML builder that works with Eclipse.

Thanks

I use a free program called violet by Cay Horstmann and its eclipse plugin by Alexandre de Pellegrin. Not having much experience with other UML tools in the eclipse environment, I can't vouch for its relative "excellence".

Violet draws class, sequence, state, object, and use-case diagrams. I have mostly used it for class diagrams in eclipse. It serves that purpose quite nicely.

If you want the best one and money is not a problem than Borland Together is the best breed of its kind ( http://www.borland.com/us/products/together/index.html ).
Another alternative is: IBM Rational Software Modeller ( http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/modeler/swmodeler/index.html )

What tool will be "excellent" for you depends on what you want to use it for. So, what do you want to do with it?

Personally, I use UML mostly for design sketches, and for that the best plugin still seems to be UMLet.
