Hi Dmitry,

A while back I tried IDEA 5 but, since we are a WebSphere shop, my boss would not buy a license for IDEA. I've downloaded the trial version for IDEA 6 and I've noticed that I can now run instances of WAS from my IDE but I think IDEA is not able to add/edit WebSphere-specific deployment descriptors for my modules. My question is, is this kind of support planned on IDEA's roadmap?

Hello Francisco,

Indeed, there is currently no support for WebSphere-specific deployment descriptors. You can watch the following JIRA request to get notified when the feature is implemented:

http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-12272
