I am currently looking for a High Level Architect willing to work in the San Antonio, TX area making $55 - $70 per hour. Any qualified candidate will have the following proven and documented skills:

o Technical Architecture and leadership
o Perform discovery and analyis on a previously developed and failing architecture.
o Develop a new architecture based on findings and the nuances, risks, and strengths of the current architecture.
o Lead a team of 15-20 developers to redevelop and redeploy the application
o Exposure to HIPPA is a huge plus.

o Technical Background
o 5 years of "hands on" Java/J2EE
o This is a THICK CLIENT application so I need at least 5 years of SWING with a background in C++ development.
o Corba and IDL
o Oracle Database / Data Warehousing is a huge plus
o Vitria BusinessWare is required.

o Must have a strong background in full life cycle development from creating the architecture, to the "hands on" managing of the development, to assisting in the development and deployment of the project.

If you have these qualifications and are looking for a long term opportunity in our company's highest profile project in 20 years, please forward your resume/cv with references and salary requirements to: tiholt@teksystems.com (in your email please mention JavaJobs.com)
