I'm curious to know this, because we recently faced
the dilemma of building in J2EE or Ruby on Rails.

Gian,
Riyad is taking a bit of vacation time so I'll try to answer for him.
Basically, the Ruby market is one we are continuing to watch to gauge demand as it matures. It's certainly an interesting technology. However, at the present time the world-wide
Java EE tools market is still several orders of magnitude larger than the Ruby tools market and it's this size difference that drives our strategic decisions on where we allocate our development resources. That said, we constantly re-evaluate our product focus based on demand from our large user community and tweak the product mix accordingly.
