The functionality of Geneva is to support prime brokerage. The prime brokerage function facilitates multi-currency financing, clearance, settlement and custody of securities transactions by active market participants. Investment managers may utilize more than one broker for the execution of trading strategies, but use a prime broker to maintain a single set of books and records and provide efficient cross-margining as well as consolidated position reporting. It involves BANK doing everything for the client like executing, settling and accounting the orders placed by them. Geneva is centered around to support the functionality as described and a reconciliation system is built around it to verify reports before they are sent to the clients. Geneva is used as the books and records and reporting system for managed lending cash reinvest desk. Cash received for managed lending transactions is being reinvested on a daily basis. Geneva provides positions and balances and supports the clients as well as the trading desk with different reports.

Responsibilities Include:
� Translate business analysis and requirements into effective system analysis, design and program specifications.
� Provide effective code development using Java, Sybase, Unix and also be able to grow into a technical lead role.
� The candidate will analyze and provide mapping/bridge between BANK data sources and Geneva package loading requirements by utilizing a good understanding of the portfolio accounting, various types of securities used in large portfolios (equities, options, futures, debt, asset backed, swaps etc), all types of trading and non trading activities, corporate actions and repurchase agreements etc.
� Code Geneva (an Advent portfolio accounting package) using RSL (proprietary reporting language for Geneva) for customized portfolio reporting.
� Provide production and user support.

Unix Solaris with Shell scripting
Geneva package knowledge.

Perl scripting
JSP, Servlets, WebLogic.

2-4 years in Financial Industry.
Full project life cycle experience with good experience of system analysis, design, database design, code development using JAVA, Unix and Sybase database.
Experience with Geneva package.
