Hi,
I have an EAR with product1.war and product2.war, etc. The EAR's contents are configurable and vary. I put all of the WAR references in the application.xml and have the problem that the web server will not deploy the EAR if all of the WARs are not found in the EAR.
I have too many permutations to be able to create a different application.xml for each configuration and then swap them in and out according to configuration.
Any ideas?
Thanks for reading,
Katie Wright

Create a temporary application.xml that contains a token like @modules@. Then use a filter to replace @modules@ with the modules you need at build time.
