Congratulations! Please send me your preferred snail mail address and phone number by sending an email to bookpromotion AT javaranch DOT com with the subject "promotion winner - Pragmatic Project Automation" and I'll forward your information to the publisher.

Next week, we're promoting two books:

  • and Eclipse: Building Commercial-Quality Plug-ins by Eric Clayberg and Dan Rubel in our IDE's and Other Tools forum.
  • All three authors will be hanging out with us, answering questions.

Mike was nothing short of astounding during this promotion. It is the most engaging and successful promotion I have been involved with during my tenure on the Ranch, and I am thrilled to be one of the winners of the book (which I am sure I will devour greedily).

Thanks Mike! It'd be great if you continued to hang with us here on the Ranch.

Thanks Mike, for having aswered all those questions.
Right now some of the projects I'm working on require
that initial 'bootstrap' insight to make them lead a
    healthy life

    Congratulations to all the winners!

Bear, good thing you won the book too, you don't mind
some hard questions might they arise in the coming
    weeks?

    Cheers,

    Gian Franco Casula

    Observation on winners removed.

If you have a genuine grievance with how the book promotions are conducted, please feel free to post a discussion in the JavaRanch forum. If you were indeed 'just kidding' then I fail to see how your post was constructive to the discussion.

Thanks for everyone's great questions and kind hospitality! I enjoyed hanging out with y'all. I hope I've helped convince you that automation benefits everyone and you'll consider picking up a copy of the book.

I'll try to stop in once in a while. For now, I need to ride off into the sunset. :-)

    Thanks again!
