Hi
Am new to ANT and it is my first time writing a build file.
My folder structure:

xyztransmission
-- buildscripts(ant.properties,build.xml)
-- lib(jdom.jar)
-- src
-----java
-------servlets(*.java)
-------utils(*constants.java)
-----web(welcome.html)
-------WEB-INF(web.xml)

I want to create a war file and deploy it into tomcat
(i.e.create a folder named hubtransmission under webapps)

Can anyone help me with the build.xml

Thanks
Kawa

Have you taken a look at the ant manual?

ant manual

-->> Using Ant
------>> Example Buildfile

The example build file may help. Also look through the other parts of "Using Ant".

Since you want to build a war file check out the war task.

-->> Ant Tasks
------>> Core Tasks
------------>> War

If you get stuck come back and tell us what you've tried and where you're stuck.
