SENIOR JAVA PROGRAMMER / ARCHITECT
Qualifications
3+ years of practical Java experience.
1+ years of C# experience.
2+ years of project management experience.
Experience creating class diagrams and writing project specifications from a set of functional requirements.
Proficiency in English. Both written and spoken.
Practical experience writing client and server network applications.
Experience with networking protocols such as SSH, FTP, SMTP, POP and MIME.
Experience using source code versioning systems such as CVS or Perforce and build tools such as
Ant.
Experience with
unit testing using tools such as
JUnit.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be split across Software Development, Product Management and Support and Architecture.
Software Development
Approximately 50% of your time will be spent writing code and testing.
Product Management and Support
Approximately 30% of your time will be spent managing other developers, identifying potential product enhancements and providing customer support for existing and newly developed products.
Software Architecture
Approximately 20% of your time will be spent writing product specifications and creating class diagrams.
MID LEVEL JAVA PROGRAMMER
Qualifications
2+ years of practical Java experience.
Experience implementing code provided class diagrams and project specifications.
Proficiency in English. Both written and spoken.
Practical experience writing client and/or server network applications.
Experience with networking protocols such as SSH, FTP, SMTP, POP and MIME.
Experience using source code versioning systems such as CVS or Perforce and build tools such as Ant.
Experience with unit testing using tools such as JUnit.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be split across Software Development and Product Support.
Software Development
Approximately 80% of your time will be spent writing code and testing.
Product Support
Approximately 20% of your time will be spent providing customer support for existing and newly developed products.
