does 'property' tag of build file has 'file' attribute? i can't find more info on net. what it does?

also, about 'target' attribute?

i know only about 'key' and 'value' attributes.

A reference of all supported attributes, along with usage examples, is part of the Ant Manual (which is also part of the Ant distribution, so you should have it on your hard disk). Look under Ant tasks -> Core Tasks.

i looked at it. but it doesn't tell about file attribute in property tag. go to using ant -> property. you wont see anything there.

It sure does. Search that page for "file", and you'll find an explanation of what the attribute does.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
