Hi,

What happens when I mention a non existent directory name as a todir attribute in a copy task ?

In my build file I had done so shaan directory doesnot exist , but the build tool is not flashing any error ? why is it like that ?
The below script works fine and doesn't copy anywhere ?

<!-- Deploy the WAR file to WebLogic -->
<target name="deploy" depends="war" description="Deploy application to WebLogic">
<copy file="${build.deploy.dir}/${context.name}.war"
todir="Shaan"/>
</target>

Regards

HI,

It has created a directory by that directory. So, Can we conclude that when a destination directory doesn't exist it creates one ?
