Building Project using build.xml

hi all,

sorry if i posted the question in wrong place.

i have written build.xml in order to create war file for my project problem is it is not creating war file it is not entering into the specified target where war is defined. i have placed echos there to debug.

my build.xml



please help me.

What command are you using to run the ant script? Are you including the target name in the command? What do the echo statements, that you have in the script, print?

I am running it through eclipse, i can see no errors in console but it is not creating war file

The "-v" option on the Ant command line will tell you in detail what's happening. When you run Ant in Eclipse, you have to open the Eclipse Ant run dialog and add it to the Ant command line.

If the build.xml's well written, you normally should get the same results from ant stand-alone and you do running it inside Eclipse. My definition of "well-written" is "doesn't depend on a specific IDE or IDE version", however.
