Is there Unix For a Mac/Apple  RSS feed

i have an 5.25 drive apple/mac computer and i would like to learn the basic of unix on it. Anyone know if this is possible and if so where could i download it?

There are several Mac ports of Linux. Do a net search for linux and mac, and see what comes up. If your machine meets the hardware requirements it should be no problem to convert it to Linux.

If there's money burning a hole in your pocket, you could always buy an AppleMac G4 or the new and extremely sexy little G4 cube and upgrade to the public beta of Mac OS X (which is, interestingly, in part an Open Source effort). It's based on the Mach UNIX kernel and is by all accounts a great OS. Unix on a Mac, from Apple. voila.
