Installation successful,need book on commands

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,
I could install Linux 7.0 on my m/c that already had NT server.
Now though the lastest version is full GUI based I still wish to learn the Linux commands.Which is the best approach to do this?
One way is to read the commands from the book.Which book will give me the quick review of commands which are really helpful.
I ve RED HAT LINUX7.0 Unleashed.(Sams techmedia).Any other good book for commands?Thanks.

The first place I look for info on specific commands is invariably the manpages.
However, I also find the O'Reilly 'Linux in a nutshell' quick reference book quite handy to have around when I need clarification on one command or other, or need to find out about other commands and their variations.

i am running redhat 7.0 on a desktop that i threw together and on a partition on my sony vaio laptop... i do not use gnome or kde on the sony, so here are the books i use for command refs:
i have the "unleashed book" that you mentioned, and i find it to be pretty useful. i also have "Red Hat LINUX Administrator's Handbook" by Kabir, M&T Books but it only covers through 6.1...
so, i picked up "Linux System Commands" by Volkerding & Reichard, M&T Books... it has nothing but commands, so you have to know what you are looking for to use it. however, it has detailed instructions for each command and the options that go along with them.
but, i still have to check redhat's website occasionally for tips and the manpages are always useful.
