Hi,
did u try this software cygwin? http://cygwin.com/download.html

did anyone try to download it, i am having difficulties in downloading it?

yes i have downloaded it and it works fine in both windows98 and windowsNT environment. just give another try and you should succeed. In case u have trouble send a mail at chandra_a@hotmail.com and I can send u an alternate site, I dont have the link here at the moment.
