Java Developer � Hunt Valley, Maryland
G.1440 provides IT professional services and IT consulting & staffing services to over 600 clients nationwide. We employ top-tier technology talent in challenging positions both in-house at G.1440�s Baltimore-based Professional Services Division and remotely at client sites.
We are currently searching for multiple contract Java/J2EE/EJB Developers for a 2-year project in Hunt Valley, Maryland. We are looking for a 6-month to 2-year commitment. We are open to both 1099 and W2 contractors. Our W2 contractors receive full G1440 benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD, and Life Insurance.
Your first assignment will be 2 years on site at a dynamic, growing financial product company in Hunt Valley. You will join an energized team in the development of an innovative new product that is already in use by many well-known companies. You will be a senior contributor on the Java team. This team currently has 6 Java Developers; due to the signing of a 2-year contract with a large, well-known bank, they need to add 5 to 6 additional Java Developers to their team.
Job Type: Full Time, Contract Position
Job responsibilities will include:
�EJBs, JMS, XML,
Struts, MQSeries, and Oracle
�Enterprise development in a clustered environment
�Time/performance constraints and high availability
�UML,
Junit, Jprobe, Perl
�Development and/or deployment on Unix and/or Linux
�Experience with financial services and/or transaction-based services is a strong plus.
Dedicated, team-oriented people will work best in this environment. This development group works very well together. The environment is hard working and dedicated but very reasonable. There is a development process in place.
