Hello,
I have created a .profile for myself which contains bunch of classpaths and other things. How do I run this .profile file automatically on login?
Thanks

The action is called 'sourcing,' and how you do it varies with the shell. For the Bourne, Korn, and bash shells use:
$ . $HOME/.profile
For C shell use:
% source $HOME/.profile
