Hi guys,
I was trying to install RedHat Linux 7 from the CD-ROM. Well it all gone nice first. But then every time when I want to go to Linux I have to boot my computer from the disk (the one I made during insatallation).
I read the whole guild again. There was one thing that was missing and that was 'Lilo'. I try to install it again to make sure I don't miss this. But it never asked me any bloody thing about 'Lilo'. I don't know what to do know. I am gonna install windows NT workstation first and then I will try again for linux. (I got two partisan in one hard drive)
If anybody out there in the world of nice people had the same problem and know how can I start it again with any easy guide on instalation from internet (not the redhat.com one please)
then please tell me.
(Any help will gives to good time with your pootas in future)
Thanks

It's not a bad idea to check the Linux HOWTO's - they often offer valuable info for common problems.
I can give a few basics, though. Install NT FIRST. Use it to partition your disk. Apply the NT service packs and IE upgrades. You'll probably want to also install the Sun JRE, since Microsoft won't give you any Java support on a clean install anymore.
Second, shut down, pop the RedHat CD and boot up. When it comes time to select the installation type CHOOSE CUSTOM. The "canned" Linux configurations all reformat and repartition the hard disk - even your copy of Nimda.
LILO isn't set up for the "Server" and "Workstation" installs because it's not all that useful if there's only one OS (and because of the above, that's all you'll end up with after repartitioning ). However, for the custom install, you should see a step asking where to put LILO and the default is usually good.
In 7.2, I think LILO gets bumped in favor of GRUB, which is considered to be pretty cool. It has powers that probably no other bootloader does.
