Hi All,
does anybody know how to make the command line screen show more than 24 lines when I first log in?
I'm using Redhat 7. Something to do with the video driver?
TIA

I'm not sure quite what you are asking. Do you log in to "console" mode (where you can switch between virtual consoles using ALT1, ALT2 etc.), or do you log in to one of the X window managers ?

I log in with console mode, which is what I mean, and then if I need x-windows, I startx it. But my computer's slow and often I can get away without x-win, but it's just got so little screen space with only 25 lines.
