UNIXProcess.for ForkandExec nativ error: Exec format error  RSS feed

Hi,
i wrote a programm that execute some AIX System commands and i read the command-output into a textfield. Ok, that work fine
When I try to start a file i got above error-message. For example: file /home/testperson/names contains: /etc/cuts/from/pass
How can i solve this problem?

I don't quite understand the question. Are you trying to execute a text file ? What do you expect it to do ?

Hi,
i wrote a program that reads all text and error messeages and type it to a textfield. currently it works only when i used a standard unix-commando like "ls -ltr". if i try to start a program which contains an unix shellscrip i got always this error message. The other way is i open a new xterm but when i do that i lost the process of the current window and my java program hang.
sorry for my bad english i hope i could explain my problem.
