Hi,
Im a newbie, Ive just installed vsftp on my SuSE 8.1 install and Im having a
problem whereby I cant get ftp sessions to use symlinks.
For example I configure vsftpd.conf so that when I login as markf my
directory changes to /home/markf. Ive created a symlink in this directory to
my Jakarta webapps directory, but when I try changing directory via my ftp
client, I get an error message. Im sure that the symlink is setup correctly
with the proper privileges as I can telnet in and change directory using the
symlink, but I was wondering if there was a configuration option in vsftp
that allows me to follow symlinks?
Ive checked the online documentation at: http://vsftpd.beasts.org and Ive
checked /etc/vsftpd.conf but to noavail.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Mark
