We have a Java opportunity in Billings, Montana here in the US. Our company will sponsor your H1B visa and green card application.

We are looking for a person with Java, database, and system administration skills to work with our customers. We have a Java software product, called Flux, which is a workflow engine, BPM engine, and a job scheduler. We are looking for a Java developer to join our team to work with prospective customers, and existing customers, to help them with programming to our product's APIs and with using our products user interfaces.

It's a hands-on position with daily interaction with highly skilled Java developers. Daily Java coding and troubleshooting is required.

Due to these daily customer interactions via phone and email and occasionally in person, applicants must speak English clearly, understand English with a variety of accents, speak professionally, and write lucid emails.

We cannot stress enough that *excellent* English communication skills are mandatory.

Experience with the following technologies is a must:

Java
SQL
JDBC

Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus:

Java threads
application servers

Experience with workflow, job scheduling, business process management, and the financial sector are big pluses. To be successful, applicants must enjoy having personal contact with people and have a passion for making your clients successful.

Our company will sponsor your H1B visa and green card application.

For more information, call +1 (406) 656-7398 or email [email protected] . Send your cover letter and resume to [email protected] .

Our website is at www.fluxcorp.com

To clarify, although we will definitely sponsor H1B visas, you must be available for an in-person interview in the US. You need to secure your own passage and visa to the US for an in-person interview, if we request one of you. We are not able to hire for the position for engineers whom we have not met in person.

Thank you,
David

Hi David !

To clarify, although we will definitely sponsor H1B visas, you must be available for an in-person interview in the US. You need to secure your own passage and visa to the US for an in-person interview, if we request one of you. We are not able to hire for the position for engineers whom we have not met in person.

This is quite understandable, but I have great doubts it will lead to anything concrete the way you present it :

1) supposing you aim only aliens for H1B sponsorship, this means an alien candidate will have to pay some US 500 $ for a go-and-return plane trip which will very likely be a full loss (at most one candidate will win sponsorship, all the others attenders will lose, which makes loss by far the most probable). Do you believe any alien will pay so much for each interview with such risk of failure ? Surely not, none will, so you should rather rely on something remote such as CUCme webcam encounter, phone conference, or alike.

2) Even if one alien wins your sponsorship, you surely know that end of H1B attribution is very near, official end is on 1st october but of course real end relies on cap reach, whose current number is totally unknown. If H1B cap is already reached, which is perfectly possible, sponsorship will fail whatever. We are already at the point where all H1B are attributed on very first day which is 1st october, surely as US labour system is totally obsolescent and stupid the day is near where enough H1B files will be provided on very first petition day, which means with present silly system petition on 1st april only and resulting H1B on 1st october only 6 mounths later, with of course only bodyshopers as winners as no honest US enterprise can afford waiting 6 mounths for hiring someone while foul bodyshopers easily can (this forum shows that some are asking some indian candidates to pay US 3,000 $ for one of their H1B visa).

So I suggest either you set some remote tests & interviews for an alien and file H1B petition as soon as possible, or you simply hire a local.

Is it possible to know amount of salary offered, for this was never stated until then ?

Best regards.
