hello everyone,
Just recently switched to linux OS -RedHat 8.0 and am currently having problem on how to create a signed applet on linux box, i have no problem doing this on ms windows platform. Could you give some hint or good links on how to do all this on linux?

It should be the exact same process. The jarsigner is in the jdk bin directory.
What's more of a problem is that different techniques are (or at least were) required for IE and non-IE clients irrespective of what OS the applet was downloaded from.
I'm not up-to-date on applet signing myself, though. A lot of things I used to think required a signed applet turned out to be an imperfect understanding of good practices for Internet services, and those that do I've so far not been called upon to create applets for.
