Java RMI Compilation Error on Linux  RSS feed

sir, I installed Java 1.4 on Red Hat Linux 8.0
When Compile the Java Program using rmic I am getting the following Error
at 0x4027912c: java.lang.Throwabl.Throwable(/usr/lib/libgcs.so.3)
at 0x4026c0af: java.lang.Exception.Exception(/usr/lib/libgcs.so.3)
at 0x4026f9b3: java.lang.RuntimeException.RuntimeException(/usr/lib/libgcs.so.3)

.
..
at 0x40253308: gnu.gcj.runtime.firstThread.call_main()
..
..

please reply this soon. I am in the mid of the project

It looks like you are using gcj. I have used gcj's version of rmic, but it appears other people have had this error. I would suggest trying the rmic which comes with Sun's jdk.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
