Hi All,
I would like to know how to do telnet (unix) from a source specific port to destination IP for eg
From my IP (127.0.0.1) port 7001 to Vendor IP (112.123.123.3) port 8282
In this case, what is telnet syntax.
Pls guide me in this regards
Thanks
Cheers

I don't believe that standard telnet clients have this capability (specifying the source port.) They can only specify the port on the remote host.
You could use something more flexible like netcat to do this.

Agree... you can not specific local port when establish a connection using telnet. But if you like, you can do it in Java using Socket class .
